About Us
Has your young child ever announced, “It’s easy to get money – it comes from the bank of Mom and Dad?”
I know it stunned me when my then 5-year-old declared that money magically appeared in my purse. That’s when I realized that there was a financial gap in the education system and that we needed to step up our game as parents.
I launched Knowledge Makes Cents, The Financial Success Academy for Kids, in 2014, so that parents had the tools to raise financially savvy children. The nine children’s programs and three parent workshops were delivered over hundreds of times to public schools, summer camps and clubs throughout Ontario. Teachers, organizers and parents raved!
With over 25 years as a corporate pension actuary and retirement consultant, I’ve helped scores of corporate clients and their employees understand the complex world of saving, investing and retirement planning.
Most humans avoid talking about money, but I know you want to be an upstanding role model and make good decisions for your kids. And now you can teach them the value of money with a fun, easy and practical allowance system!
